* White House Video Contest!
CALLING ALL STUDENT SCORSESES: The White House announced that it's hosting its second student film festival. The theme is, "The Impact of Giving Back." The administration is calling on students in kindergarten through high school to tell a story about paying it forward, community service and what it looks like to make a difference. (Last year's theme was about how technology is impacting the classroom.) The rules are the same - students must upload their three-minute films to YouTube. Submissions are due by Jan. 20. The White House will pick films in mid-February and the film festival will be held in the spring. More information: http://1.usa.gov/1uXrjMc
